Malik Tariq Mahmood has completed his MPhil in Mass Communication from AIOU. Presently he is working in the Department of Commerce. The topic of his dissertation was "Teachers and Parents Perceptions Regarding Impact of Violent Television Cartoons on Academic and Social Behavior of School Going Children of Rawalpindi". He completed his thesis under the supervision of Professor Doctor Syed Abdul Siraj. He presented his thesis before vice-voce committee. The Committee appreciated his research work and recommended for award of the degree.
